Imperfections
Use Imperfections to include geometrical imperfections in the analysis according to selected load combinations.
- Initialize amplitude with steel bars (EC3 5.3.2.(11)) – ff enabled, the amplitude of imperfections is initialized using steel bar criteria in [G1]EN1993-1-1 5.3.2.(11). The initialized amplitude is used in the Load combination calculation settings
Shapes
The table lists all available load combinations in the project.
- Load combination – load combination that is used to calculate the imperfection shape
- Rqd. – the amount of imperfection shapes that is required from the analysis
- Calc. – the amount of imperfection shapes that were calculated if an imperfection analysis has been performed already
Settings

Rqd. as positive only – when enabled, the required number of shapes must come from positive shapes only (shapes with positive critical factors). This means that the analysis continues until required amount of positive shapes are found, which may require calculating many additional shapes. When unchecked, any shape will count towards the required amount

Max no. of iteration – available only when Rqd. as positive only is enabled. Sets how many analysis iterations are allowed when searching for the required number of positive shapes. If the required amount of positive shapes are not found within the allowed iterations, the calculation ends without reaching the required number
