Periodic excitation

Use the Periodic excitation tool to set up and change combinations for calculation of periodically harmonic vibrations of dynamic effects.

When you select the Periodic excitation tool from the panel, a new dialogue window opens.

Name - add or change the name of the combination
f - set the harmonic frequency value
Factor - set the scaling factor of the load case
Phase - select one harmonic function from the dropdown menu
Load case - select a load case from the dropdown menu to use with the harmonic functions
