Shell Info

When you press the Info tool on the palette for any shell and select the corresponding shell from the model, a new dialogue window opens.

Info dialogue

This dialogue displays calculated geometric properties of the selected shell:

Volume - total volume of the shell element
Center of gravity X - X-coordinate of the shell's center of gravity
Center of gravity Y - Y-coordinate of the shell's center of gravity
Center of gravity Z - Z-coordinate of the shell's center of gravity

It also contains one button:

Insert point - inserts the center of gravity point into the model as a visible marker
