Panel Shell
The panel Shell contains tools for defining two-dimensional structural elements such as plates and walls. These elements can be used for slabs, cores, shear walls, and other planar components in your model.
- ↘ Plane plate - define flat slab elements for general floor or deck structures
- ↘ Profiled plate - create slab elements with integrated profile geometry
- ↘ Timber plate - place flat timber slab elements with orthotropic properties
- ↘ Plane wall - define vertical or inclined plane walls for load-bearing or shear transfer
- ↘ Profiled wall - create wall elements with built-in ribbing or profiling
- ↘ Timber wall - define flat timber wall panels with direction-dependent stiffness
A special expandable icon in this panel opens a group of Shell component tools.
- ↘ Wall corbel - place cantilevered corbels directly onto shell wall elements
- ↘ Post-tensioned cable for shell - define a tendon system for shell elements such as plates and walls
Shell panel also has an interactive clickable panel name that will take you to the relevant settings in the Settings menu.
