RC design improvements
FEM-Design can perform complete analysis and design workflows for large-scale and complex reinforced concrete structures. This is supported by its fast, market-leading finite element generation and solver engine, as well as by continuous performance optimizations across releases.
While model size and performance naturally depend on hardware resources and modelling complexity, FEM-Design is designed to scale efficiently with demanding real-world projects.
In FEM-Design 25, reinforced concrete shell design calculations have been significantly accelerated, with average performance improvements exceeding 20%.
In addition, the internal handling of large models has been further optimized. For example, the time required to switch to Documentation mode after design has been reduced by up to 50% compared to FEM-Design 24. This improvement is mainly due to a substantial reduction in temporary file sizes, leading to faster model loading, smoother workflow transitions and a more responsive user experience when working with large RC models.
