Shared folder for title blocks

The Title block function in Documentation is used to create, register and reuse labels, headers, footers, frames and complete title templates. Custom title blocks can include drawing elements, automatic text fields and logos, and can be stored for repeated use across documents.

FEM-Design 25 now allows title blocks to be stored in a shared folder, in addition to the local user directory. The shared folder can be located on a network drive or external server, enabling consistent and centrally managed title templates across an organisation. The shared folder path can be defined under Settings ➔ Environment ➔ Directories.

Title blocks stored in both the local directory and the shared folder are available under the Title block command and can be used in the same way.

info

If a title block with the same name exists both locally and in the shared folder, the shared version takes precedence. Newly saved title blocks (.ttb) are still stored in the local user directory by default. When new title blocks are added to the shared folder, it is sufficient to close and reopen the Title block command to refresh the list. Restarting Documentation or FEM-Design is not required.
