PREFAB 25.0.3
PREFAB 25.0.3 includes the following improvements.
StruXML
Added supported elements
New element types are now supported for StruXML export:
-
Profiled plates and walls – can be exported to StruXML
-
Timber plates and walls – can be exported to StruXML
-
Non-vertical and inclined elements – can be exported to StruXML

Added support types
You can now select the support type during export:
-
Point supports
-
Line supports – possible support directions are automatically detected from the 3D model
-
Surface support

Simplified material model for StruXML export
You can now use a simplified material model for exported elements. When activated:
-
Creep – set to 3
-
Poisson's ratio – set to 0
Improved load traceability for cover loads
Loads generated from covers now include information about the originating cover.

Direct FEM-Design results option
You can now read FEM-Design's "Constant by element" results directly in PREFAB. The import happens without any simplification or post-processing, so PREFAB displays the results exactly as they appear in FEM-Design. This allows for workflows with direct results where simplifications are not desired.

Improved calculation settings flow
The project information page now has an improved flow of calculation settings, with a preview of how PREFAB would treat example data. The flow is now based on method and solution:
-
Based on FEM-Design – Elastic compression zones, Plastic compression zones, Direct - Constant by element
-
PREFAB plastic redistribution – Full Structure, Per Storey

Custom date and revision data
You can now set a custom date and revision date in Project Information. These are shown in the PDF print.
