Use the Export to function to export the model to a supported file format or send it to another integrated software.

Export to

Above the line​

The first three formats (DWG/DXF, IFC and Allplan) support standard model elements like supports, bars and shells. Depending on the export format, analysis or design results like internal force graphs or reinforcement may also be exported.

Below the line​

Use the bottom three formats (IDEA StatiCa - Checkbot, IDEA StatiCa - Relink and IDEA StatiCa - File) to export steel joints and their corresponding data.

  • Use IDEA StatiCa - Checkbot for a live, direct link, if both programs are available on the computer
  • Use IDEA StatiCa - File, if the two programs are running on separate computers
  • Use IDEA StatiCa - Relink to revive a previously established but closed direct connection
