Shear capacity
The Shear capacity design result shows the calculated shear capacity components for the shear reinforcement of reinforced concrete shells.
Shear capacity is available for:
- RC shell shear reinforcement
Result selection
To display Shear capacity results, first select the basis for the result:
- Load combinations – then select the specific load combination
- Load groups – then select the group type and the force or moment component to maximize – the governing combination for that component is generated automatically
In addition, select the capacity component:
- vRd,Max
- vRd,c
- vRd,s
Result display
Shear capacity uses 4 display types: Graph, Contour lines, Colour palette and Sections.
Graph
Shear capacity results are displayed as a graph.
Contour lines
Shear capacity results are displayed as contour lines.
Colour palette
Shear capacity results are displayed as a colour palette.
Sections
Shear capacity results are displayed as sections.
