Concealed bar
Use the Concealed bar tool to define concealed reinforcement bars used in concrete design workflows.
When you select Concealed bar, the tool opens a dialogue.
Main tools
- Define – create a new concealed bar
- Properties – check or edit properties of an existing concealed bar. Opens the Default settings dialogue for the selected bar
- Change direction – modify the bar direction for selected concealed bars. Direction can be lengthwise or widthwise inside the created rectangular region
- Default settings – define default values for newly created concealed bars (read below in more detail)
Defining tools
- Rectangular – define the concealed bar using a rectangular definition method
- Pick existing region – reuse the contour of an existing region
Coordination tools
- Local system of shell – align the concealed bar direction to the shell local coordinate system
- User defined direction – set a custom direction manually
Default settings dialogue
When you open Default settings, a dialogue window opens.
- Identifier – text field for entering the default identifier
