Hide/show objects
Use the Hide/show objects tool to change which elements are visible in the current view.
When you select the Hide/show objects tool from the menu, a new tool palette opens.
Main tools on the tool palette

 | Use Hide tool to select any object in the view to hide. You select elements with the mouse in the view. |
 | Use Show tool to select any object you previously hid and show it again. You select elements with the mouse in the view. |
 | Use Flip hidden/shown objects tool to select objects and flip their hidden/visible status (turn previously hidden elements visible and hide previously visible objects). You select elements with the mouse in the view. |
 | Use Select hidden/visible objects by Filter dialogue tool to show the Filter dialogue. In this dialogue, you can select elements to hide or show by specific parameters (instead of selecting them with the mouse in the view). |
