Acceleration
Use Acceleration to display dynamic acceleration results in the model. This result is available only for dynamic-type analyses and is used to inspect how acceleration is distributed over the structure.
The result appears in the following analysis types:
- Seismic analysis
- Footfall calculation
- Moving load dynamic
- Time history, ground acceleration
- Time history, excitation force
Additional selections
Depending on the selected analysis type, you may need to make one or more additional selections before the result can be displayed.
These selections can include:
- dynamic shape
- excitation region
- moving load
- moving load velocity and position
- load combination
- timestep
Result display
The Acceleration result is displayed only as Colour palette.
