Total masses
The Total masses analysis result one combined mass for the entire building, including mass magnitude and the associated fundamental frequency.
Total masses are available for following dynamic analysis contexts.
- Eigenfrequencies
- Footfall calculation
Result selection
Total masses do not require any additional result selection.
The result is displayed directly once an eligible analysis has been performed.
Result display
Total masses use a specialised result display that is fixed for this result type.
The results are displayed as symbols positioned at the shear center of the building. A green symbol represents the mass at that location. You can enable the display of numeric labels to show the mass and frequency.
